Well….
I think if you want to do drugs, and potentially ruin your life, go ahead. It is not anyone’s business but yours. You shouldn’t go and get in people’s lives and try to stop them, if you want to help them then you need to make sure that they know the problems that can happen when they do drugs. After that, though, you’re done. You shouldn’t do anything else.
Most people will not even try drugs if they know from the beginning what the side effects are, and how it can mess up your life. But again, if they want to do that, LET THEM. As long as they aren’t bothering you, or trying to get you to do it, and won’t let up about it, who cares?
I know many people who smoke Marijuana, (Which I do not consider a “drug,” and I’ll explain why here in a minute…) and don’t push it on me, hell, I even own two different pipes, just because they look cool. They sit in my room on a shelf for the whole world to see, and one even has a pot leaf right on the front.
But guess what? They’ve never been used. (Okay, except for once, I smoked some frosted mini wheats because I wanted to see if I could v.v) I’ve never gotten myself in those people’s business, and they’ve never pushed it on me. So why should my panties get in a knot over them smoking Marijuana if they aren’t bothering me?
Although, I might be concerned if they were doing Cocaine or Heroin, or something that you can actually call a drug. Marijuana, for me, isn’t a drug. Sugar is more of a drug than Marijuana. Why do I not consider Marijuana a drug? Good question.
I don’t consider it a drug because the word “drug” indicates that you can become addicted to it (You *can* become addicted to sugar) You cannot become addicted to Marijuana. Period. There is NO ONE that has ever become addicted to Marijuana.
“Drug” also means that you become dependent on the drug, and you experience withdrawal when use is stopped. Marijuana has been used recreationally, medically, and ritualistically since it was discovered.
In America, “drug” possession is considered a victimless crime and it’s been made legal in a few places, already. Since its legalization in those places, drug usage rates have dropped, crime rates have dropped, and guess what? You don’t see tons of people going out getting stoned and causing trouble.
What I’m trying to say here is… SHUT UP. If they want to do drugs, let them! As long as they don’t push it on me, I’m cool with it. And you should be, too. Don’t get all bible-thumper-soapbox-preachy on them about drugs, if you don’t know what you’re talking about.
EDIT:
Also, there is no one who has ever overdosed on Marijuana.

i think drugs are stupid but if you want to do them then thats your business and nobody elses unless you are causing trouble for someone else.
good post.
