The Bible

on Saturday, 16 June 2012

I want to talk about this because I saw a post on a website where a bunch of people were arguing about the Bible. Since I don’t feel like getting my head ripped off by a bunch of Christians, and Atheists, I decided to talk about it here. And not invite any of the people to join in here.

The main point of the argument was whether or not the Bible is real. So, let’s dive into this.

Let’s say the Bible is real, and God told man to create it. Man is imperfect, and has probably twisted some of what God said to him, or misunderstood some of what God said to put in the book. The Bible is probably loaded with misunderstandings/lies by man.

Now, let’s say the Bible is fake, and God doesn’t exist. The man who created the Bible may have been Schizophrenic, and was seeing and hearing things that he believed in his heart, were divine.

I personally believe that the Bible was created by someone who had an encounter with something that is not human (Although at one time may have been human). This could be a God, a creator of some sort, another race from another planet, or maybe just a ghost.

Maybe our creator(s) realized that certain people need something divine to believe in, so they created this story to try and assist people with these feelings they were having.

Maybe it was created by man for a sibling that was struggling and needed something to believe in and it just kind of spread around.

I understand both sides of this argument. Christians believe that God is real, because, well, how did we get here if he isn’t? Atheists believe that God is fake, because someone had to have created God, and someone had to have created THAT person, and so on.

No one knows what is real, and isn’t real. You can believe in all your heart that God is real, and it could turn out that he’s not. You can also believe that science has proven that God doesn’t exist, yet it hasn’t, and probably never will.

Should a God/creator actually exist, he/she is something far beyond us, and we shouldn’t spend our entire lives trying to tell others that he’s fake, or real. We don’t have much time on this planet, unless the aliens come visit us with an Anti-Aging recipe in hand, so don’t spend your time arguing with people. It’s just going to stress you out.

Believe what you want to believe, and even though people may not have the same beliefs as you, allow them to have them freely.

Now that I’m done here, I’m going to go back to playing Sims 3.
