Just sayin’ is all
We’ve been unable to get our yearly flu vaccines — the doctor’s office has had us on a waiting list for them, the county doesn’t have enough even though Missy and I both fall into the high risk category (her age, my diabetes), the pharmacies are out of them … and Thursday evening Missy came down with what is clearly the flu (she thought at first it was just a sinus headache, by about 10:00 p.m. we knew it wasn’t) — and now, in the wee-hours on Saturday, I am about ready to lay down and die beside her. I feel like I’ve been run over by a mack truck.
She missed dance Thursday night, we missed going to Indiana for a family dinner on Friday, she’ll miss dance on Saturday AND trick or treat with her friends. Here’s hoping it only lasts a couple days so we can start next week off on a better note.
And that it’s just the regular old flu and not freaking swine flu. How the hell do you tell anyhow?

Were you tested-90% of all flus out there are swine. Also, 40-60% of the ‘fast tests’ yield false negatives.
