A 25-year old Ukranian chemistry student had a rather odd habit of dipping his chewing gum into a packet of citric acid before chewing. The other night, the young man apparently dipped his gum into the wrong packet. The packet he grabbed contained an explosive substance which, when chewed, promptly blew off the bottom of his jaw resulting in his untimely demise.

Police suspect the young man simply confused the packets.
